Day 7: Justice

Seeking justice begins with seeking the God of justice.

Psalm 89:1. “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.”
Psalm 103:6 “The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.”
  • Today we commit to seeking justice through prayer, relying on an all-powerful God to help us do what is only possible with and through him.
  • Pray for a movement of God’s justice and for a generation of believers to give God full access to their lives and have passion to take action.
  • Pray for those who have been abused. Ask God to continue to restore their spirit and give them joy in the midst of their pain. Thank God for being able to restore us in spite of our brokenness.
  • Pray God would raise up workers to bring his justice to those desperately waiting for an advocate.
  • Pray for those partnering with God in his work of rescue and restoration to continually seek to be replenished and strengthened by God.

Pray for International Justice Mission Canada as they work with victims of slavery, sex trafficking, sexual violence, police brutality, property grabbing, and citizenship rights abuse. Pray for continued collaboration with local governments and communities that will produce lasting change.
