Emotions could be overwhelming to manage. We often hold a jumble of them internally.
BENEFITS OF JOURNALING:
It helps organize our feelings
It supports us in dealing with or discarding emotions that aren’t serving wellness.
It encourages us to consider and determine how we treat ourselves and others.
GUIDE TO JOURNALING:
1. Acknowledge your feelings.
2. Identify the underlying thought or belief of each feeling.
3. Question if it is a true or lie - use scripture to establish and define what is true.
4. Discover what you can change - even just something small.
5. Track your changes and celebrate your "wins".
