We choose ABUNDANCE… as a way of life

2 Corinthians 9:8 "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound with every good work."

We choose to be BOLD... rather than timid.

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline."

Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

We choose to be GENUINE... rather than cloaked in fear and self-preservation.

Romans 12:3 "...do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you."

We choose to be INVITATIONAL... rather than exclusive and isolated.

Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

We choose to value HARMONY...while embracing our diversity.

Romans 12:16 "Live in harmony with one another.  Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.  Do not be conceited."

Our Prayer

For the audience of One we live and breathe and have our being.
You liberate us from the chains of a lesser love, 
You liberate us to become liberators for others.
Under Your name we are unified and it is under Your name
We Gather as Canadian women rising up from East to West. 
We declare that is You we rise for.
And You alone   Amen.

We exist to bring Canadian Christian women together from diverse cultural, denominational, generational and geographical contexts in order to create a strong infrastructure of connection coast to coast, to equip and resource women with teaching and tools to live their faith and put their faith in action to transform their nation.

We believe that by creating a space where Canadian Christian women are invited to connect and be equipped through Gather Women’s online and on the ground presence, a national voice will be called forth that will have significant impact in the Canadian culture and globally, for Kingdom work.

What would it look like if Canadian women of faith were stronger together
through a connected infrastructure coast to coast?

• To tell the Canadian story.

• To champion a culture of support as we walk out our callings: unified and diverse.

• To connect us all regionally and nationally through a robust network on the ground and online.

God is stirring in us the desire for a uniquely Canadian expression of His heart for us.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended to the dead.

On the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Amen.
